MTB Mechanic / Equipment Officer Enduro MTB
Your tasks and responsibilities…
Enduro Team (50%)
- Mechanic and organizational tasks at Enduro World Series (EWS) and other Enduro events, training camps and product testing
- Maintenance of race bikes between events
- Organization of team race logistics (flights, accommodation, team set up at events, etc.)
- Placement of orders and follow up of deliveries with team partners
- Feedback with riders and team partners
BMC Mechanic (50%)
- Build up, check and maintenance of the press bike fleet
- Build up, check and maintenance of the test bikes and product launches bike
- Organisation of the Wengistrasse working area
- Build up of the R&D samples and bikes
- Presence at events (product launches, test events, etc.)
Requirements
- Min. 2 years’ experience in a mechanic role and good knowledge of the bike industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong verbal communication skills in German, English and French
- Expert user of Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly learn and utilize the integrated company software
- The successful candidate must be self-confident, able to work independently, and pay great attention to detail
- Must be willing to work on weekends
